Save the trees

We all love and are proud that Bellevue is a “City in a park”, but to keep it that way we need to save our trees at Airfield Park. We have the Aquatic Center, pickleball courts and other fun outdoor facilities for families. Instead of invasive roads and accompanying parking lots that disturb our trees, we should honor our mission of environmental stewardship, follow the tree canopy code and apply the low impact development principles that were decided when Bellevue became our wonderful “City in a park”.
